This map went under a lot of work and was very different to what I originally started to design. After scrapping the original, I'm very happy with the end product of this new map and I hope you guys enjoy.

I actually kinda had a hard time telling what tiles were part of the foreground.  Then I just sortof accepted that they all were.

I tried pretty hard to distinguish them with using the midground more so that they would parallax but maybe its the color choice as well. :\
I guess it's also different when you make a map and already know what is collision and what is decor.

That's very interesting.  I always wonder how you decide on your final result, especially interesting that you completely scrapped a map in the process.  How the hell do people communicate with you?

It all really depends on how I feel about the map if it flows in the way that I want and if I'm happy with the gameplay and visuals then I publish a map, but of course are are always oversights that other people will catch after publishing. I know I could always have people to test my maps but I also want to keep the surprise so everyone can have the same feeling when I release a map for people to play.
If you want to communicate with me my e-mail is joewess_91@hotmail.com. I also recently joined the dustforce discord, but I barely go on discord.

Great job this was fun.  Will be sure to grind it too as I can see a lot of improvement I can do.  As usual your art is fantastic meark lol.

Mmm two other maps in the series, but not as much as in this map. I have one more map currently in the works for the series and it doesn't involve spaceships either. :<

Holy cow, the visuals on your maps never cease to amaze me. Really fun! Only issue I had was not being able to tell which tiles I could land on in some areas on the first run, but it was pretty clear after the first run or two.

Thanks Bbop! I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue but I'm glad it can still be somewhat distinguishable even after another run of the map.

They should call Dustman to solve the issue :P

I reviewed this map on my stream and my jaw was on the floor. I have way too many positive things to say to type out here, but this map was AMAZING! With the song linked, it was probably the most epic experience I've ever had in Dustforce.

The subtle, simple prop effects are really creative and work remarkable well, especially with the spacecraft. The fact that you didn't settle for a few ship types, but had so many different ones was incredible. I don't even know what more needs to be said about the lasers, but the fog triggers were excellent.

Only criticism is fairly obvious; it is a bit hard to distinguish background elements from the player's position.

Thanks man, I really appreciate that and thanks for reviewing it on your steam, along with a couple of my older maps! Those fog triggers were the tricky part to make it look like there is an actual laser battle in the background. I'm glad it worked out though.
