This is probably nothing new, but with thanks to BrotherMojo I realised that when you hit a slime it becomes invulnerable while it recoils. Initially I thought this only applied to hitting it away from the surface it's on, but it guess it applies to any situation where the slime recoils. Idk, check my replay to see the most extreme single-case example I could come up with.
