map notes
Here's a map I've been working on for a while now, inspired by the movie Frozen (:

Length is approx. one minute.

P.S Is there a way to make the steep slopes(that I use for "icy spikes" without having to create gigantic circles and then moving parts from them to create the slopes? This takes forever.. :P) http://imgur.com/zKw7Ybo

you can just select them off a single block like this http://imgur.com/a/qnr7y

Oh, right! I usually never utilize the rotate function for blocks. This would've made the making of this much less tedious haha.

Thanks!

Here's another way to do it, useful if you want to make them en masse: http://www.twitch.tv/doughnation/c/3801996

This is even better, thank you! One question on this method: It looks like you're drawing in a 45deg. angle, how is this done? I only know of the 90deg. angle using shift.

After you rotate the brush with shift+scrollwheel, you can hold shift and click-drag to draw/erase diagonally. In this case the erasing is done at a 67 degree angle.

Cool map, really open and fun! There was one minor issue I had with a checkpoint that's really easy to hit too early, I'll leave my replay up for a bit. Good stuff though, lots of possible optimization.

I'm glad you like it!

I watched your replay, and yeah, that checkpoint right above the prism.. I should definitely have left that one out :P

http://puu.sh/7cItL.png why does the camera absolutely refuse to follow me down here? i have no idea why noone else has complained about this, so I must be doing something wrong >>

Yeah the camera it's probably not optimal in that part but you don't have to go down. You have to follow the arrow.
I don't think you could do a faster route going down.

Sorry about that :p

It looks like I need to spend some more time tuning the cameras, I tend to only set them up for the route I imagine people will take. I'll make sure to set up more detach cameras in future maps!

Can't find the dust i'm missing for the life of me. And on the bit eklipz questioned i think was a bit confusing.

I really liked it except the end. Not giving enough dust for a super that has to be nearly perfectly placed -and- have to hit patroling gargoyles that can fly far to the left or right to even get enough combo for the super is really really irritating.

Save it? ;o

Save it? The super? You need the 1st one for the prisms.I got it eventually, though dustworth can probably do it 1+ seconds faster with that strat.

If you leave a piece of dust on the vertical wall in the part with prisms, then you don't have to hit the gargoyle for the super.

I agree with you on that the end could've been made better. I spent quite some time thinking of how I wanted the ending to be, but I couldn't come up with anything I liked, so I decided to just stick with this one. I often tend to rush things when I am close to finished and I'm trying to be more aware of this.

Thank you for the feedback! =)

Its fine, Like I said I really like the general layout of the level, I just got to the end half a dozen times with good runs and would either miss the gargoyle or miss the maid or butler with the super and I wanted to pull my hair out. I didn't think about missing dust on the wall though to get enough dust for the super, probably could have saved myself quite a bit of frustration by doing that.

Really fun map, the route was a bit confusing at first but it's really just a blast to play. Thanks!
