map notes
As a young janitor who just started out cleaning, you sometimes get teased and pranks pulled on you by fellow students of the conciergian persuasion. Freshmen are often told to wipe through burning chimneys or hoover hedgehogs, spiders will be put inside your cap, and for some odd traditional reason, a single strap of the overall is cut at shoulder height. You, however, of course much smarter than the rest, won't fall for these kinds of shenanigans. Surely, someone must clean up all the leaves in the forest?

Thanks to boen and Cpt. Cleveland for testing. Also, there's a pair of things to find.

I'd like to dedicate this any% route to the testers. (Try to ignore that it's not actually faster)

It's so pretty, multiple parallax layers and that not alone, it's also smooth, fast and fun! Awesome!

As David Attenborough once said, "Watch as the mighty dust ball floats around so elegantly, little does he know he will soon be food for a dustpan and broom"

"As the sun sets in the great forest, a lone young dustball floats, searching between her carefully laid leaf trappings on floors and ceilings, trying to find food for her young. Her meticulous searching fits a young mother, with her symbiotic raccoon companion helping her grab even the most wedged of dust apples.

But a hunter is on the prowl. The dustman is a perfectly adapted predator, designed for the tracking and killing of dustballs. With ferocious sweeping, he follows the dustball's trail, taking out the delicately constructed leaf piles everywhere, from slopes to walls. And he is not alone. The dustman often has many followers, all of which compete with him - as it is only the fastest cleaner that gets the prize. In vibrant colours of blue, red, purple and green they can be seen swishing around the forest, coming closer and closer... And then, they strike.

The dustlings will not survive the winter."

If creating Dustforce levels is a competition, then we've lost... oh god we've all lost...

I love what people have come up with using those diffuse light props.  Using them in the background for parallax was genius!  Really beautiful level, and great fun!

I got to say that it isn't really my idea though - czulki's Ruined Temple and spiceman's Dusty Shelves used it before and to great effect

Yeah, but with the props and color saturation it's unique enough for me to congratulate you!  It's just a really nice touch.
Man, what happened to spiceman?  We should find his address and send him postcards telling him to make more Dustforce maps!

+1 to more Spiceman maps. Dude is creative as hell. I do like Tinkers maps though they always have great flow to them. I guess being amazing at this game gives him some insight lol.

Fantastic map and great use of props in the scenery. I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times, but it has excellent flow--albeit there are some areas where I was confused about where to turn first. Once I learned the map though, it was loads of fun.
