This is probably something that has been found before and I doubt it's very useful except in maps like this one.
Just another weird gimmick I've dressed up a little, as usual.

So: If you spawn next to a spiked wall and either jump or dash the second you gain control, you can ignore the spikes completely. The timing is a little tight, but it's not so bad. I don't know why it works, but apparently it does. Huh...

This looks to be a similar situation to a few other maps that abuse respawn invincibility

It seems like in general, there's maybe a frame where the player can input things before the invincibility wears off. Another use for this is to gain permanent invincibility by moving into a deathzone, as seen in these maps
