I like it.
My biggest issue is that dash lengths are awkward, usually just shy of another dash if you're going fast.

Also the first playthrough was a bit confusing. How to handle some parts were not obvious at first, so some backtracking became relevant. More spikes would have helped that, I think. But I also feel like spikes tend to kill innovation, so some might say it's fine as is.
