I haven't played the original so I can't compare the two, but I have a couple of comments:
1. The stair part was a lot more fun than I expected it to be, lol
2. Your use of tiles in the background in the whole map made the first run really confusing.
3. I feel like the map is too bright, my eyes hurt a bit while I was playing it.

With that said, the map is a lot of fun to run, good job.

Hmm, I guess I should've made things grayer instead of white. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice map, my only gripe was the fact that its difficult to spot dusts with the white background.

I love the cherry blossoms and the desaturated look of the background.

Detailed and dynamic level. I love how the sky changes color and exposes the "fake" tiles - really surprised me.

I found it pretty hard, actually - although I suck at Dustforce, so I shouldn't really say anything.
