Extended ceiling runs. Start the ceiling run holding only up -- as if starting a mapler, but don't complete the mapler. Continue to hold up until just before the ceiling ends, then release and hold down. You have to release up before you reach the end of the ceiling. I don't think holding down is necessary, but it helps me to be more consistent.
edit: for longer ceilings you can use your ceiling run, as long as you can fully complete the ceiling run animation. note that the 2nd ceiling here doesn't give you enough room to do that.
