Same reason people 1 bomb any map (a lot of maps).  Because they are childish haters who live only to spread hate.

I definitely wouldn't go as far as reducing people who rate every map a 1 to such lows. Having said that, it does suck that I'm not able to get an accurate view of how the map is perceived by others. Bummer :(

I remember reading a comment that said one could see the individual ratings of a map. Does anyone know if this is the case? I can't seem to find any way of doing so~

Don't bother worrying about ratings.. they rarely reflect the quality of a map on this site.

I can barely figure out the editor, so any map that has decent gameplay/attempt at decoration gets at least a 4/5 from me. this one is easily 5/5 though - flow is solid and it looks great.

Yeah, that's a shame though.. I wish they would!

The editor does take a while to get used to, I've spent so much time just tinkering around with stuff in there trying to figure out what things do :p

re: individual ratings on a particular map

there is no way to do that, as far as i know. you have to track each rating as it comes in and use averages and a bit of math to figure it out.
