This was supposed to be a virtual level, but that was a long time ago. Now I've finally finished it.
The map is a bit tricky and lengthy. I'm sorry, this is the kind of maps I enjoy making and playing, and I'm aware it's not for everyone.

Big thanks to Giamma for giving ideas, testing stuff and trying to put things on layer 20.

This is... really hard. EDIT: took me almost 10 mins
Looks nice though. I like the yellow-lantern-mine-city-lighting theme.

Interesting level, I wasn't even sure If I was doing the intentional path or not for most of the areas. The design/fog triggers was nice as well. 5/5, fun map.

The only problem that I saw was the drop into the cave area, the camera didn't seem to always follow me.

It's pretty difficult to give some sort of freedom in a kinda hard map, at least for me.
As for that drop, I feel it follows properly. The drop isn't lethal and to be honest I don't think I could react to the slope myself on my first try.
I don't know, I've tried my best. Glad you've enjoyed it anyways.

oh, I wasn't saying that it doesn't follow you normally, that camera you set up for it is nice and works fine. I was just saying that sometimes (like in my current replay) it went to another camera and locked onto that for the fall, and I wasn't sure what was causing that difference.

Sorry, It's obviously a very minor thing about the level, but I just wanted to point out any kind of feedback/info I could think of.

Also I'm totally fine with criticism and feedback, but I got a bit confused, because that was the part that worked completely fine all the time. Your replay enlightened me. Sorry about that.

the purple spike tunnel is unnecessarily cramped. you don't need to have both the slopes on the roof and the bumps on the bottom

Took me six minutes to complete, why is it over a minute even for SS? Thats literally my only gripe is how long it is. If it was a 45 second map that was this difficult, I'd love it but its way too long.

ya this too its a bit too long for how hard it is. and the difficulty ramps up significantly towards the end.

Ok and then the whole dustblocks thing is probably the worst idea anyone has had, I have light attacked that little stupid wallrun to jump around spike ceiling section so many times that now I believe you did that to piss people off.

you just have to force yourself to light attack the prism early; it's not that bad. i agree it's not the best design but it's not terrible either, imo

Nice difficulty. I realize what my problem was with the slopeboost at the beginning of the cave section was (and especially if you die and hit the checkpoint):
I do better with slopeboosting if I can see when I'm landing rather than guessing when I land. If the camera isn't right on me, then I have lots of trouble knowing when to start dashing, making it difficult to maintain momentum (and therefore missing that boost over and over). To begin with, I'm not very good at slopeboosting, but the camera trouble I had there just added to it, and I'm not sure what the problem I had there was with the camera itself.

This map is hard. I like it though, it's really good aesthetic wise. I feel like from a level design POV if you're going to make a long one the hardest parts shouldn't be near the end, though. That's just me. A ridiculously easy end-of-the-level isn't fun either. Hard to strike a good medium.

The part with the prisms everywhere and the spike islands near the end is my only gripe. It feels unnecessary. 4/5 - 4/5 from me
