alright there's funny and there's being an ass to someone whose first language is not english. that was markedly in the latter camp.

I was kinda rude earlier, sorry about that.  The map is fun, but theres a few areas where the player has to really compensate for things that slow them down.

This is one of those areas, the player drops off of a 60 degree slope thats facing in the opposite direction from where they want to go onto a 30 degree downwards slope.  The transition would have been much cleaner if the slope they had forward momentum from a 60 degree slope in the opposite direction onto a 45 degree slope. http://screencast.com/t/pl0FbxnE

This is another area, I caught the screenshot a little late, but jumping up to a 45 degree upwards slope leads to a massive loss of momentum with no good way to get it back.

The initial fox made sense for the any% route until I realized that you don't need a super to complete it.  It breaks up the momentum off the start because you are coming off of a downward ramp with a large amount of speed and have to immediately stop to kill an enemy without another 45 degree ramp to get your momentum back.

As for the final group of enemies, I'd work on the placement a tad.  Its usually best to give players an incentive to use a well place heavy attack to finish the level instead of a super because it takes more skill to place the heavy.  If you want the super to be used that's fine but having a clump of enemies that the player can hit precisely to reduce the amount of time that the super takes can be good.  To achieve this, I'd move the enemies to be a little more compact, or put them into multiple groups, or just choose enemies that don't attack back (you can't approach the books to get a good downward heavy).

The last area I'll mention is the wooden platform after the chain of enemies.  The landing and floating enemy are really awkward.

Hit me up on reddit or steam if you need someone to test future maps.

The only problem I had was occasionally mistaking foreground for background or background for foreground. Also it is possible to fall down into a previous checkpoint which is unfortunate.

quite a good map for your first map, keep it up! Make sure to watch replays on other peoples maps and note how they make the map flow well. This map doesnt flow as well as it could, and is kind of awkward to route.

All in all fun though, but very much on the long side. Generally try to keep your maps around 40-50 seconds long at the max, people get frustrated at longer maps.

I suspect this map is about one minute once optimized.  Badger hit 1:11 and I can see at least 2-3 seconds of possible improvement in his route.

oohhhh i thought people like long map. my bad. Kumlekar thanks for the feed back IL put that to good use. Is their anyway to have some one test your map before you putting it up.

I like long maps. As long as they aren't too difficult as well then anything over 1 min and under 2 min is pretty much the best length. And I'm not sure why everyone is complaining about optimization on someone's first map. Seems pretty stupid to me especially because I found the route to be quite fun, if I could see everything that is.

Very fun map still, even after a bunch of uploads :p (Be sure to hit people up on Steam to test your map instead of using the Atlas next time!)

You have a clear sense of what makes fun flow and there's a lot of routes and time saving to be found here, so looking forward to future maps.
