map notes
You stand on top of a mountain, your whole life ahead of you.  Enjoy the freedom of your innocence before having to combat the realities of life.  If you stay the path, you might just have a glimmer of hope.

A warning, this map is long.  Its also moderately difficult.  I've toned down the difficulty a little from its initial version, but the primary difficulty of the map will be its length.  The any% path is significantly easier and shorter than the ss path, and should be much more manageable if your having difficulty with the gigawalls or temple section on the main path.

Level only tested with Dustman

Dear LORD, SS took way longer than it should've.

My only real complaint is the music choice; other than that, great map!

oh and I didn't like the any% limitations, too many killboxes.

Which kill boxes do you mean? most of the ones I put in were to prevent the player from falling and surviving on the last section because of how infuriating that would be.  Btw, your runs were a pleasure to watch, you tackled the final section in a few ways I didn't think possible on the any%  I also forgot that that spike jump under the mountain was there.  I added the wall near the bottom at the last minute to make the SS run easier and forgot that it would change the any% route.

Also, Seyna, your air control is amazing.

Okay, level was way to long for starters, also when you make a ceiling slide, make sure that its possible to get all the leaf tiles at full speed first, (i think its right before the prism jumping part) the camera could have used some work at that second drop after the giga walls. Music was fine don't worry about it :P. Those giga walls always get me though haha

The kill boxes at the end were too close to the prisms, i fell into one of  them but i still could have gotten the next enemy :/

Thanks for the compliment towelie.  I didn't even think about that drop at the beginning, does need a camera.  Looking at the high scores list it looks like the length/difficulty scared alot of people away.  Still, I'm pretty happy with how this level turned out, unlike my other recent one.    I'll probably be doing a followup to this using some of the tricks from peta and mega (hopefully without increasing the difficulty too much).
