I feel like there's an unfinished secret, or one that I can't figure out.  I found the ramp to the left of the 2nd book you encounter, but I have no idea what to do with it; it just slings you back to the area you were came from.

Yeah it's unfinished.  I put a death trap there so you cant make it into the rest of the level.  https://i.imgur.com/F0qsZtV.jpg

It doesn't lead anywhere, after you get through all the boosting you plummet into the never ending abyss

Ironically the flags weren't the problem. That hell-spawn of a book was my mortal enemy. Also gargoyles phantom punching me made me rage.
