Yet again, the shades of green are far too close to each other. many times I wouldn't notice a platform because it was slightly lighter than the ones I was standing on and goo blends in with the background. Neat idea, needs better contrast between colors.

You think so? It is difficult to balance the colours/contrast with visibility when trying to create a specific look.
I didn't find the visibility a problem, but it is difficult to judge when you're the one that designed the map.
