map notes
My first map and a simple one at that (I think). Thanks to Indapop for testing, cameras, and triggers as well as Twinkie and IsaVulpes for motivating me to make a map.

Also, got a question for you guys. Do you feel that this difficulty is CMR appropriate?

you should take my opinion with a grain of salt, but yeah! i think this difficulty would be perfectly fine for a CMR, especially given its length. it's also just a great map, so even if it wasn't, i'm not sure anyone would have complained :p

Thanks for sharing! I tried to make everything fair and playtested it so that it could be SS'd without proper boosting, dashjumping, super dropping, etc. I'll be sure to make it a trend. I'm glad you enjoyed the map. :)

This is easier then mid gold, so yes, for example, night temple is a harder level then this.

This is why we need objective constraints on difficulty. I think this superdrop section is waaaaaaaay harder than Night Temple, and that the rest of Night Temple apart from that section is unbelievably easy.

Definitely CMR appropriate imo. Superdrop section is the only hard part, and on a 20 second long map it's not much of a bother to repeat until you get it.

repeating a super drop section set up like this in a race would make me never join a race like that again.

Yeah I had a feeling people wouldn't like to do it in a race even though you don't have to superdrop in order to SS the map. There were also some rules that were being tip toed i.e. boost section into spikes and dust visibility that made me just upload to atlas instead.

My view of it is that superdropping this section is easier than attempting it by sliding on all of the walls, but neither option is satisfactory because there's no safety guaranteed in either decision.

This looks great! The colors turned out great and the cameras work perfectly as well! Good job. :D
