It indeed is pretty frustrating.
I get what yo mean with the different light, but that doesnt help me at all in the darkness part.

I dunno, the map seemed too "trial and error" for me. You just had to guess where you were going, so there was really no skill involved. You just died until you memorized the route through trial and error.

It's a good concept, but it seems like the map is frustrating just to be frustrating.
