Overall, it's not too bad for a first map. Here's a couple nitpicks:

- It's not entirely clear which way you're supposed to from the start. I assumed you'd go left since he Dustman was facing that way, then I just fell into the abyss. "lol whoops"

- I'm glad you decided to use the camera tools on your first map, however there are parts that zoom out waaaayyy more than they should. Try putting the camera in a *little* closer on those faster parts and you should be good to go.

- This (http://i.imgur.com/iw5hv8L.png) part right here feels too precise to do and isn't necessary. (otherwise I'm bad)

- This (http://i.imgur.com/BUU6Rfc.png) blind drop is pretty mean. I would either move the platform after this higher up or zoom the camera out further so it's actually visible.

Thanks for the feedback!

You're facing left at the start because, well, it randomly changed directions and I had no idea how to change it back.

I actually made this map a lot harder at first, but I decided to make it easier. I guess the spike part is a leftover, although I didn't have a whole lot of trouble with it when testing. I will keep in mind to keep the difficulty level even though!

And about the blind drop - I actually tried to show the entire drop and it did work at some point... I was surprised to see it didn't work anymore. I used only normal camera too. I guess it would be best to use free camera at points like these?

You seem to have a pretty good grasp of the level editor, but still, I would suggest looking into some editor tutorials. There is a map called "Camera Tutorial" by Shin_Rekkoha and here are some video tutorials:

Regarding the level, it was not bad for your first map. It flows decently well, but there are some unnecessarily tight spots. Getting a feel of how maps whould flow is something you get as you play more of the game/other maps  and make more levels yourself.

You can open stock levels and other maps in the editor by putting the file corresponding to it into (by default) C:->Steam->SteamApps->common->Dustforce->Users->levels_src   too see how backgrounds and other stuff are done.

Nice map, I like the flow and length. I didn't mind the spike part, but it does feel out of place with the rest of the level. I thought it could use maybe 1 more checkpoint, but other that its p good.
