map notes
Decided to give map-making another go.  Tried to make it harder than Satisfaction.  Constructive Criticism welcome!

EDIT:  Fixed some major indication issues and a minor exploit.

I didn't play the last one but the gameplay is really fresh. Nice job, in the future if you want you can ask people to test your map, myself included.

Edit: You should probably get rid of the last version because people will play it anyways for some stupid reason.

Wait, like I could send you the file to test it?

Did not know that.  Noted for the future.

There are usually people around the Dustforce IRC that are willing to playtest maps and give feedback. You should drop by some time for general dustforce discussion.

I can send maps for testing through steam? because I should probably do testing.

Good map. Just can't see anything ahead of me, including the indications, before it's too late. Keep it up!

there are some cool ideas, but the drops are pretty much blind so it's slightly annoying

I don't know how to camera.  I can zoom out?

Yeah! Check out the 'Triggers' section. (for text, colours, audio, and camera)

Doughnation made good intro tutorials for the basics, cameras, and triggers, found here: http://www.twitch.tv/doughnation/profile

and Bird had a good followup tutorial for unintuitive nuances concerning gameplay: http://www.twitch.tv/abirdofprey/c/5205216

You can also place pre-existing maps into your editor folder, and look at how people used the camera. Someone else may have a good example of a map to check out.

Great map!

Although some of the death zones were a bit awkward. Just dying randomly when there's no obvious danger isn't fun. I think it's better to use spikes and walls if you really want to stop the player from taking shortcuts.
