map notes
This map was created because the mechanics of the blob enemies (sometimes called wall-slimes, etc.) are never explained in-game.  The quick kill strat with two light attacks is important to learn for the various lab levels, and is explained by the scientist at the beginning of this map.  I took the concept up to 11 and it is nothing but blobs.  If it's still difficult, watching replays will make the strategy clearer.  There are some safety blocks in the first section for practice purposes.  If you already know all of this, and if you hate these enemies more than anything else in the game, you might just want to skip this map.  For everyone else: I hope you enjoy it.

I especially hope you enjoy the any% route.

Remember that you always have 3 possible directions to stretch the blob in and then 2 perpendicular directions for the next hit.  You've got options.  If something seems awkward, try approaching it from a different angle.

So while i hate blobs, you made this interesting. Route was hard as fuck to follow though.

Yeah with the lack of ground dust to guide you, the route just has to be figured out.  The camera guides you for what it's worth.  Early on I decided not to use any dust because it broke the look of the map and I didn't want to use layer 20 shenanigans or deal with mismatched colors.  I spent a lot of time on the art...

Nice concept, but it seemed longer than it needed to be.

This was actually pretty challenging. I actually really liked how you ended the level with the lighting.

Calistus should like this map.  It reminds him of COD: BLOPS.

All the blobs aren't in the death trigger, so one of the time I went through the level, I by chance killed some but not all of the end blobs.

Unlike every other enemy in the game, you can't move blobs after placing them.  This makes it impossible to place and link them one at a time then move them into position.  I still tried to link them all, with plenty of spam clicking.  You are just insanely unlucky.
