map notes
Atlas, I present unto you a map... with a gimmick... oh noes! The map is pretty straightforward and linear. There are no secrets, don't look for the secrets that don't exist. Don't do it! I'm very happy with how the art style turned out in this one.
You will have difficulty seeing some things, especially when they are on the current off-color. In fact, one could say that you "Can't see shit, captain!" This is by design, for once, but I hope you enjoy this map just the same. I also hope that people who have difficulties with fog triggers can look to this map for guidance.
This level does not have many background elements for gameplay reasons: the gimmick of color changing and certain things being barely visible can become too confusing with background elements cluttering it up. This is doubly important when transparency is a key part of the map and parallax layers are going to shift and be visible through it. Conversely, if you want to play a map where I put too much shit in the background, go check out The Scar. My heart is with you Atlas...
