map notes
My first level. Sorry if it's hard, I can't finish it myself (then again, I am very new to the game).
I don't understand much about this level... why I made it, why I called it Ballet, why I chose Dream Salvage as the song, why I put the 2 moons in the background, why I used brown/orange for the colour palette, why I feel 'sad' whenever I play it (maybe not sad, but some kind of emotion)... just doesn't make sense.
Biiiiiiiig thanks to Magnetbrain for playtesting & teaching me how to use the level editor.

Feedback would be most appreciated! Constructive criticism please :)

Why don't stars work properly in the editor :(

To get stars to work properly it helps to put two Fog Triggers next to each other. Dunno why it doesn't work with just one.

Still they're painful :V

Is it just me or is the music really quiet?

It's fine for me :(
Is the music volume up in settings?

Oh, and congrats on Wiring :)

Thanks :D

Yeah my volume was turned sort of low and I think this is the quietest track in the game. The level reminds me of the start of ghost parapets~

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is.
Ghost Parapets is my favourite level! :)

Really cool map, one of the few that fits dream salvage really well.

Glad you like it!
I'm probably going to stick with this sort of a theme for my levels... Maybe not virtual every time, but certainly minimalistic & peaceful :)

great map :) it wasn't really difficult but the jumps were just tricky enough that i failed a fair amount of times before getting my ss.

I'm not sure whether or not that's a good thing! :)
I guess, is it a 'friendly' kind of tricky? Like, hard enough to be challenging, but not hard enough to be ragequit?

friendly tricky i suppose. not anywhere near challenging or frustrating/rage quit.

short and sweet :-)
a little tip: if you'll do another level with stars, choose a dark color (like a dark blue or purple) for the lower background since no stars appearing there :-)

you can control the appearance of stars on each of the 3 "levels" by using the three stacked sliders in the upper right of the triggers panel.

I guess I didn't think about changing the colour of that bottom half :( sorry bout that!
And yep, I know you can change the stars with the sliders :) They're just really annoying to get right (and I didn't like the look of the level with stars all over the place).

Thanks for the feedback though :)
